It's on the island of Raiatea, birthplace of the "Maohi" Culture, and in the far end of the magnificent bay of Hotopuu (means fertile in Tahitian) that La Vanillère is located.
All together, a micro-climate and a soil rich in humus, represent the best conditions for the specific cultivation of this World-wide unique orchid of which Tahitian vanilla is the fruit.

La Vanillère, the major importance of its kind, is the largest of the Archipelago. The farm is situated on a property of more than six hectares, and the plantation is organized in different greenhouses (favourable to the growth of the vines with a maximum protection against insects and birds).

La Vanillère produces, cures and exports its High Quality beans and vanilla derivated products all over the World..

Our curor and production manager, Alain ABEL, was awarded Best vanilla bean curor at the larger Tahiti agricultural show in 2003 (the show takes place every 4 years).
